Gala Day Main Event Gala Day itself features a host of attractions for the young and the young-at-heart. Many of our old favourites are making a welcome return as well as a few new attractions. There will be a host of stalls in the Marquee, providing cakes, jewellery, books and much more. We expect the Drunken Woodlice to make an appearance on their way to the Ferryboat. Your every refreshments needs will be met by a range of catering facilities including the tea bar, burgers and ice creams, as well as the licensed bar in the pavilion. Teams from Burton Joyce, Bingham and East Bridgford will compete for the Bob Rose Junior Football Trophy throughout the afternoon. Elections for the May Queen and King will take place over the next couple of weeks… Watch this space…
